This is my city, Cirebon city. I like Cirebon, I life in Cirebon with my family. Now i will tell you what is it Cirebon City. Ok lets go...Cirebon is a city on the north coast of Java Island, in the province of West Java. Because of its location on the border between West and Central Java, though, its culture is a unique blend between the two. The city is easily accessed from Jakarta or other cities in Java by train or bus.
Cirebon is well-known as "Kota Udang" - shrimp town - due to its seafood and belacan industries. Other traditional foods include nasi lengko, nasi jamblang, swikee (frog), and tahu gejrot. The city is also famous for its batik (particularly from Trusmi, a famous village where most of the inhabitants produce batik) and rattan crafts.
Cirebon tourist attaractions cover a range of historic sites, including four separate palaces (Kraton Kasepuhan, Kraton Kanoman, Kraton Kecirebonan, and Kraton Keprabonan), Cipta Rasa Mosque, Sunyaragi cave, Sunan Gunung Jati cemetery (one of 9 holy men who spread Islam in Java), and several Hindu temples.
